The Australian Government recently introduced legislation that permits registered schemes to provide annual reports to unitholders electronically rather than by posting a printed copy.

The Australian Education Trust (“AET”) prepares a full statutory Annual Report (which includes detailed financial statements and reports). The Annual Report will only be mailed to those unitholders who request to receive it. AET encourages its unitholders to access the Annual Report online as it is a more environmentally-friendly and cost effective way of communication.
